Here are 3 draft sketches for the iOS/Android mobile apps we started thinking about.
Feedback please with perhaps screenshots. Your input is important as this is difficult to change in the future.

Android mobile app is now on PlayStore for internal testing
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chat.connect.app
After installation, you will need to scan a QR code to access your account on crm.promptchat.com
Open this link on a desktop computer and scan this QR code with the app on your Android phone:

The mobile apps for iOS and Android will be first introduced with limited functionality as seen on the following images.
- Chatboard
- Add new Contacts
- Settings
Any feedback welcome

Need to have a Left to Right mode in the mobile app

a)Taking an image/video with the phone's camera b) and sending it later is not yet designed

Kornel Kathi: Desktop version would also benefit from this feature.

Hi all!
Very good design!!!
The things that I believe could be at the first release are:
1- Ability for the Chat Operator to Subscribe the chatter to a campaign inside and even outside a live chat session
2-Create or send instant message
3-Create quick replies
4-Add Notes/Observations to the chat with the planned new "Comment system"
5-Contacts filtering and multiple selection for (tagging, instant message and subscribe to a campaign)
I also think that the operator selector for chat transferring is missing on the design.
As operators will use this, and some companies didn´t provide notebook or desktop, it´s good to us to provide the necessary tools for them working just with the app.

In my opinion, the third design version is best suited for light and dark themes
Kornel Kathi
Alla: I liked in
Version 1 - The ability to transfer the chat to a different department/operator straight from the Chatboard
Version 2 - The "send new chat button" looks unique
Version 3 - Yes, for dark view it's probably the best. So we can use this one

We will add the missing functionality to the design. We can use some solutions from other designs. But we take the 3rd option as a basis

3, Add contact - Do we need this feature in the app?
Kornel Kathi
Yes, we need a Contacts page - Same as it is in the Telegram App
See image:

- We make a search field on the desktop in the "all conversations" tab. Isn't it appropriate to also make the search field available only on the "all conversations" tab. If we make a search field above the tabs, the client can be "fooled" and think that the search is being conducted on the tab he is on.
- It seems that we have already discussed that the filter/sort will slow down and put an additional load on the desktop. As for the mobile application, this should be discussed with the programmers. But do we really need it, since we will have tabs configured? This will partially be a duplicate of the functionality we already have.
Kornel Kathi
Alla: 1) Search field is only required for “All conversations”
We do not need Search functionality for any other tab.
(Search is at the top of every single chat software in the world so we need this- because customers are missing it when they switch to Promptchat from WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, SMS etc…)
2) Sort/filter is only required in the “Contacts page”.
So Sort/Filter is not required in the Chatboard.

Kornel Kathi:
1) Yes, a search is required. I wanted to suggest moving it to the "All conversations" tab - under the tab. In this way, the search will be available when the operator is on this tab and will not mislead that the search is possible on other tabs.
2) Aren't the "Contacts page" and the "All conversations" tab the same thing? What is the difference?
Kornel Kathi
Alla: 1) Ok, I understand. Yes pls move the Search field only under the “All Conversations tab”
2) The Contacts page is where users of the app can :
- “Add new contacts”
- “Search, Sort/Filter existing contacts”
It is the Contacts tab

- In the upper part of the application, we can make settings and user profile icons. I need to understand what functionality should be available by clicking on these icons.
For example
"Settings": - Long notifications, -Short notifications(_Or we transfer this functionality to the profile_)
"Profile": -Personal data(Name, Email, Phone, Preferred date format), -Change password(Password, Password confirmation),
Notification(Sound notification, Text notification, Connection code) -
Settings(Departments) -Live chat(Default entry message when you join a conversation), -Language(English, Ukrainian, etc.)
Determine which of these functions we need in the application and which ones we don't.
Kornel Kathi
In the header of the application we do not need the company logo and the profile icon. (It is taking space without any usability)
All settings such as:
- Notifications (long/short) and assigned departments
- Profile personal details, password change
- Departments settings, live chat default entry message
- App language settings
- Select light mode / dark mode
- Privacy Policy, T&C links
These can go into the bottom corner "Settings" button.

Kornel Kathi:
- Notifications (long/short) and
assigned departments
- Assigned departments is available only to the company administrator. Is it necessary in the mobile application if the company administrator will not have access to the settings of other users from the mobile application?
The same goes for this one. It seems to me that you duplicated the point with the departments:
-
Departments settings
, live chat default entry messageKornel Kathi
Alla: you’re right, these are not necessary

I think the logo should be added, it doesn't take up much space and customers will want to see their logo in the app.
We can also upload the logo for the application separately, so users can adapt it to the mobile design
Kornel Kathi
Alla: ok, your call
Kornel Kathi
- We make the design in neutral colours, it will not be possible to customize the application colours.
Kornel Kathi
Can we make a "light view" and a "dark view" of the app
A
Alla
Kornel Kathi: Yes we can.
Kornel Kathi
Alla: cool
